Helping abused and neglected children
The Fort Bend Community Partners Rainbow Room provides new emergency supplies and clothes to children who are removed from their homes. It also sponsors a back to school supply drive and a Christmas Project.
What you can do to help:
- Host an event to collect new toothbrushes and toothpaste, hair brushes, diapers, baby formula, car seats, cribs, clothes, shoes, and other items that you would need for an overnight trip with a child.
- Help organize the Rainbow Room warehouse.
- Help with a Rainbow Room fundraising event.
- Collect new school supplies for children in CPS custody.
- Purchase three Christmas presents requested by a child or children in CPS custody.
- Serve on the Rainbow Room Board of Directors or the Dreamcathcers Auxilliary.

The Fort Bend County Child Welfare Board administers funds allocated by Fort Bend Commissioners to purchase clothes and other needs of children in CPS custody. It also accepts donations to provide for the special needs of foster children (senior jackets, rings and prom, summer camp, etc.)
What you can do to help:
- Serve on the FBCCWB Board.
- Help with FBCCWB fundraising and child abuse awareness and prevent events.

Child Advocates of Fort Bend trains court appointed special advocates to advocate for the best interest of children in CPS custody. It also sponsors the Child Advocacy Center to centralize the investigation of suspected abused children and to provide counseling to these innocent victims.
What you can do to help:
- Trained to be appointed as a court appointed special advocate (CASA) for a child(ren) in CPS cusody.
- Help in the Child Advocacy Center.
- Help or praticipate in the Child Advocates Gala, Home Tour, or other fundraising event.
- Serve on Friends of Child Advocates.
